A Wednesday night, and a 7,000-strong sold-out audience in the heart of Cornwall at the iconic Eden Project. The scene was set for a feel-good fest with The Script. And the soft rock band, making their third appearance under the biomes, ensured a magical evening for their fans.

He began by sporting shades alongside his snazzy blue jacket and baggy white trousers. During the 90-minute set, he admitted he had been wearing the dark glasses to cover up a black eye he sustained while boxing. The thought of the Irish singer fighting was in stark contrast to his soft tones and chilled-out persona as he wowed the packed arena.

The Man Who Can't Be Moved was always going to be the highlight of the set.

O'Donoghue said the song is the reason why older fans fell in love with the band and why new ones are joining the ranks through TikTok.

He’d only married a month ago and described how his song Never Seen Anything Like You now meant so much more to him after seeing his bride walk down the aisle.

There was a nod to their Irish roots with a good old jig and as the sun set the feelgood factor reached fever pitch.

Earlier, Tom Walker, best known for his 2018 top 10 hit Leave A Light On, was an excellent support.

"This is absolutely sensational. Look at the state of this," he said, looking out at the sea of fans.

His powerful voice, energy and rapport with the crowd were very impressive.
