Beginner's Photography Workshop

Have you recently received a camera and are confused by all the features it has to offer? Have you had a camera for a little while now, and are struggling to get out of the 'P'/Auto mode? Are you fairly new to photography, however would like to be able to take better photographs, and get the best out of you camera? If the answer is yes to any of these, then read on...

Ian will be offering beginners photography workshops within a 30 mile radius of Penzance, which includes areas such as Landsend, St Ives, Porthleven and Marazion (St Michaels Mount).

As each customer will be of a different knowledge level, there is no set itinerary, however during the course of the day we will cover areas such as composition, aperture, exposure, and understanding various features of your camera; helping you to get the best out of it.

There is a choice of two workshops, with the first being half day 5 hours long, and the second being a full day 8 hours long. The workshop can be started in the comfort of your home, where we can discuss the basic functions of the camera, before heading out in to the field to put things in to practice, or we can simply arrange to meet somewhere in the great outdoors and start from there. For the full day workshop we will have a break for 1 hour in the middle of the day to get some lunch and review some of the images already captured.

When you book a workshop with us, we will have a pre-workshop chat with you to find out your level of ability, and discuss what it is you wish to get out of the workshop. This way we can tailor the workshop to suit your specific needs.

If you are not a 'beginner', however would like to learn some new areas/techniques of photography, then please get in touch and we can discuss your requirements.
